Getting Started

Initial Setup & Desktop Installation

Step-by-step instructions for downloading and launching Ledger Desktop for Windows, running the installer, and launching your first board.

Installation Steps:

  1. Download the official Windows installer (Ledger-Setup.exe) from the navigation bar.
  2. Run Ledger-Setup.exe and follow the installation wizard prompts.
  3. Launch Ledger from your Desktop or Start Menu. No cloud sign-in required for air-gapped mode.
Database & Config

Database Configuration & Local Sync

Configure your local database storage, set up SQLite file locations, or connect to an internal PostgreSQL server for team sync.

Connecting Database:

Open Settings → Database Config in Ledger Desktop. Choose between local SQLite (zero-config) or enterprise PostgreSQL endpoint URL for team deployment.
